This year, Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld have come together to revisit the iconic black jacket and explore the universality of the garment, as well as the diversity of style, through a series of photographs. The portraits taken by Lagerfeld himself compile The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited, a limited edition book showcasing icons such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour and Sophia Coppola, wearing the ‘little black jacket’ as styled by Roitfeld.
This Monday, the Chanel Cruise catwalk took place in Versailles, where a very lucky crowd was sipping champagne in the sun.
Apart from the fantastic setting, incredible designs and amazing crowd, my eyes were on the models’ faces. I loved the Louise Brook hair style and the Chanel beauty spot! In French, we call it a “mouche”. Is it not super cute?
